Life expectancy for bladder cancer is certainly dependent upon the stage of the bladder cancer. For low grade non-invasive bladder cancers, the 5-year survival rate is 95%. As the bladder cancer invades deeper into the bladder, the survival rate will decrease. For Stage One bladder cancer, the 5-year survival rate is around 80%. When the bladder cancer invades into the muscle, that 5-year survival rate drops to around 50%.
